Extremely Helpful Software

I started using TurboTax for 2011 taxes due to mistakes I made the previous year when I did them by hand. IRS had to notify me to correct mistakes and re-submit. A big hassle. Using TurboTax, I was confident everything I entered was checked and re-checked for errors. No IRS letters last year, so this year I purchased the 2012 version without hesitation. Good job, TurboTax staff!
What's great about it: Step by step, form by form, nothing can be missed
What's not so great: Too many questions to answer that do not pertain to the average taxpayer

Always a breeze

TurbtoTax is easy, efficient and professional. We have used this software product for many years and have never had a problem with the preparation of our taxes or the electronic filing of the returns. We have moved several times and have had to file more than one State on occasion. TurboTax has been able to accommodate our needs under any circumstance. We have found the tax help very informative and the questions raised by the software in relation to our answers gives me confidence the product is doing a thorough job. We enjoy being able to have everything electronic so there is much less paper and we can retrieve a copy at any time. I wish there were a "What If" or scenario worksheet/tool we could prepare to estimate our tax situation easily in the event of unexpected changes to our income situation. Otherwise we have been very happy with this product.
What's great about it: Having used TurboTax for several years now, I appreciate how easy it is to upload our history and pre-fill the forms!
What's not so great: Since we don't always see the forms in detail, I find it cumbersome to go back and forth from interview to actual forms.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is an excellent product I have used it for years and I recommend to everyone. It takes away a lot of the pain of filing income tax
What's great about it: Easy to follow and you can do a little at a time
What's not so great: Sometimes had to reread topics a few times

Solid as usual

I have used TurboTax for many years and this was the first year that my return was complicated. I even had a CPA review my return after I finished with TurboTax and she said everything was correct.
What's great about it: Simple to use and asks all of the pertinent questions
What's not so great: The only minor complaint I have is that you can't print a summary of the charitable contibutions in a simple manner.

i have bneen using this product for the pastsix years. My refunds have bveen great and i dont believe that im missing any deductions. i recomend this product to any one the can use a computer its that easy

I do keep coming back to turbo tax every year. That seems to say enough I think.
What's great about it: Importing last years taxes saved time. The print to PDF sure makes record keeping easy.
What's not so great: I still have to find all the support documents

Easiest taxes

I have an accounting degree but I have always used TurboTax. It's the easiest and most convenient way to file. Plus I don't have to remember all the tax laws!

As a user of turbotax for over 15 years i find the process relatively easy, fluid and educational. in just a few cases i found navigating back to select items a bit frustrating.
