Awesome program I would suggest that everyone use it, the flow of the steps and the ease of following each step is great. You just put your papers together and away you go.... Finish before you know it.
What's great about it: I like the fact that you are able to link to other sites to download information into the program. It saves you time.
What's not so great: It needs to have more links added so you do not have to input as much info.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Great product for the price. In the past I used a tax service.
I had to gather all my tax records for the tax accountant. He just imported my info into some tax program. I decided I'm just as capable of importing my informatiion. Once you use Turbo Tax, it gets easier each year. Their tech support is great!!!!

Turbo Tax does it again!!

Turbo Tax takes all the stress out of tax season. You just sit down with all your records (i.e. w-2s, receipts) and click through the step by step menus. It asks you all the questions you just click on the answers and enter your amounts.
Turbo Tax has been a godsend for us.
What's great about it: Easy to use and the Easy Guide is awesome.
What's not so great: Sometimes the questions can be slightly confusing.

Did it myself - again!

Turbo Tax works especially for someone like me with relatively no complications - like major assets. Since saving $ is key to me as I retire I don't want to pay an accounting firm (that uses software anyway). I've used Turbo Tax for years and have been very pleased. It keeps getting easier every year.
What's great about it: Simple to use; explains items clearly; feel secure that it is accurate.
What's not so great: The charitable deductions part is somewhat restrictive. Don't want to itemize every little thing to determine dollars.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Questions

Turbo kept telling me I had to correct an address. When I did so it cleaned the screen and i could not get back to the screen.
The W-2 problem was strange since I don't get W-2's
What's great about it: Easy to use at beginning
What's not so great: Could not get rid of a W-2 for me. I haven't had a W-2 for many years.

What's great about it: Walks you throught step by step. Found errors thats saved me money.
What's not so great: Can't think of any reasons right now.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
