I found Turbotax easy to follow. I had no difficulty preparing or filing my 2013 return.
What's great about it: Easy to fallow, organized well.
What's not so great: Long wait time on the phone when iI had a Question
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Can not imagine how I would have completed tax returns without TurboTax since I have very complicated tax information that is downloaded into TurboTax. Something that I could never do by myself. Thx. CRM

I always have a good experience with my turbo tax this has made my 8th year using it and I have never had a problem. I'ver recommended it to many of my friends/ family

federal is good but state return needs help

Even though the the process of filing your federal 1040 form works quite well, every time I download and use the state program to file my Minnesota income taxes I spend twice as much time on filing my state taxes as my federal taxes.
The program asks many questions about exclusions and additions to federal income but provides very little info or assistance and I spend a lot of time trying to research each and every section before I determine that it probably doesn't apply to my situation. I expect better from the people at TurboTax!
What's great about it: the process of filing a federal 1040 works well
What's not so great: The state program provides no usefull help

The Walk-Me-Through-It sections give peace of mind that you have covered all areas. Turbo Tax is a great tool for getting taxes done in a timely manner.

I used MacInTax from 1994 - 1999; then TurboTax Deluxe from 2000 - 2012. Can't think of any way to do my taxes that is more efficient and trusted!
What's great about it: Like the carry over information from previous year.
What's not so great: Can't find any
