Such a blessing!

I know that I've received more of a refund by using Turbo Tax. It asks questions and you just fill in the blanks. Then it calculates and e-files your returns. It's just so simple and easy and really takes the anxiety out of doing ones taxes!!
What's great about it: Asks questions, does the work...
What's not so great: Can't think of any

Turbo Tax 2012 will not print.

Turbo Tax 2012 will not print the completed tax forms. This is a known bug but Turbo Tax seems to be taking their time in fixing it.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: often has bugs that are not fixed in a timely manner
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is my fourth year using Turbo Tax and I used to use H&R Block in the past. My last time I went to H&R Block, I noticed they were going through a computer program step by step just as Turbo Tax, but they charged three times as much. Turbo Tax is more detailed and I have never had a problem. I also love the information from last year is carried over and make the next years input so much easier. I will continue to use Turbo Tax for years to come.
What's great about it: Easy to use and gets the job done. Better that H&R Block

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. Don't understand why most of the people who pay a tax preparer do so. Only thing is I did have some problems understanding the area of foreign taxes paid (had to guess at figures but they were very small amounts anyway), and getting quick or easy help answers has never been Turbo Tax's strong point for me despite the apparent claims of such.
What's great about it: Cheap and fairly easy way to do your taxes
What's not so great: All is not straight forward. Help is not easy.

STATE AND FEDERAL WENT FINE...GOOD LUCK THOUGH WITH LOCAL AND SCHOOL DISTRICT. I STILL THINK MY RETURN IS INCORRECT. LAST YEAR I GOT BACK A LITTLE BIT OF MONEY, THIS YEAR I HAD TO PAY $300 MORE....GEE ,THANKS FOR FINDING ME ALL THAT EXTRA MONEY TURBOTAX, ...NOT TO MENTION 8 HOURS OF MY LIFE WASTED. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY! ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT !!!

NOT DIFFICULT TO USE TURBO TAX. I GOT A GREAT REFUND. BUT IT JUST SEEMS IN THE PAST YEARS, THE PROGRAM ON THE WHOLE WAS EASIER TO USE.

I had trouble when it got to the state return. After updating the program didn't let me continue. I had to exit and reenter. Also, I didn't know where to put my FSA deduction information in the W-2 portion of Federal return. I ended up putting under other with the amount.

I use Turbo Tax for about 10 years and every year it takes me less than in previous years to complete the return.
In a simple tax situation it takes about two hours only provided you have all income documents ready.

In my experience the application never crashed, nor I encountered any other problem.
It is also very helpful in estimating taxes for the next year.
What's great about it: user-friendly
What's not so great: sometimes need to go through the same pages again
