Does the job

I've used Turbo Tax for several years and find it the quickest and most detailed of the tax programs I've used in the past. My taxes are not overly complex and Turbo Tax makes it easy to file.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Easy Filing

Special situations discussed thoroughly. Easy to use as this is my 11th year. Would recommend that you indicate NYC payments of Pension and Distributions to IRA. Tax Free on State Tax.
What's great about it: Complicated Return with IRA Distributions and special tax situation
What's not so great: No major negatives
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax turned me into a CPA

It's fast and accurate and saves you from having to read all of the small print re which forms are required.
It's almost fun!
What's great about it: It asks the right questions, catches boo-boos, and sends info where it should go!
What's not so great: It can't gather the needed information...a real pain!

Best Tax Prep Product!

Have used TurboTax for past ten years...always pleased with it's ease of use and accuracy. Of course, getting the biggest return possible is always a plus!
What's great about it: Easy to use with exceptional step-by-step guidance
What's not so great: On state return, couldn't edit field for "field size too large"

Gets it done

Why use the walk in locations when you can save money and do it yourself . Doing it yourself is beneficial because only you know the answers to all the questions in order to get your maximum refund. Turbo Tax doesn't let you leave any money behind!
What's great about it: Walks you through all possible scenarios
What's not so great: If per chance you get stuck a few more examples would help

I am satisfy with the product

When I e-filed my 2010 tax return, system asked for the code, which I did not know, so I had to print and mail my tax file. Since I rather stayed with regular mailing. It is not that big a deal.
This year, I had question about state tax file, which have been resolved by Susan from Turbo Tax office in Texas. Thanks
Overall, Turbo Tax is helpful and saving time.
What's great about it: Staffs are very knowledgable and helful, Thanks Rebecca and Susan
