fast and easy

What's great about it: fast and easy...takes you through it all and good explanations
What's not so great: some explanations are not as detailed or straight forward as they could be.

Better Every Year

I've been using Turbo Tax for at least 10 years and every year it improves. At first it was cumbersome and confusing and difficult to navigate and feel safe (losing your place). This year was the best ever. So easy to understand and navigate with enough chances to review and back track if necessary. I especially appreciated all the informational pop ups you can select if you have a question about something without having to move from the screen you are working on.
The move from federal to state to local was smooth and seamless. And of course the best thing of all: I don't have to do any MATH!!!!!
I highly recommend this software to anyone with even a basic understanding of computers. I would not have said that when it first launched. Thank You Turbo Tax!

Taxes Made Easy

My taxes are not overly complicated, but I feel more confident they are correct when I use Turbo Tax. I like the step by step process. I like the ability to import statements from my broker. Using Turbo Tax just simplifies the tedious task of filing federal taxes each year. I give this product a 5 star rating.
What's great about it: I like the step by step guide.
What's not so great: None

Good Program

Good product. Have used for years. Hard to enter data from Schedule E that I had completed by an accountant as this involved a building I bought. Also difficult to get Turbotax to not asking all kinds of questions about vehicle used, when all I wanted to enter was mileage.
What's great about it: Easy to use, accurate
What's not so great: Hard to enter whole forms from accountant

Better refund than I expected

TurboTax is very good at leading you through the process of the federal returns. It is especially nice to have access to It's Deductible so I can enter donations as I make them.
What's great about it: Transferring information from previous year's filing
What's not so great: State procedures can be a little confusing

I am a long time Turbo Tax user and I wouldn't use anything else. I love the interfacing. It's smooth as silk.

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
