Tax preparations is daunting at best and Turbo Tax goes step by step with easy instructions. No guessing what forms, which lines need to be filled out.
What's great about it: Questions each step of the way were easy to understand

With the simple step by step help I don't hate the idea of doing my taxes anymore. I have used TurboTax for the last several years and keep getting and using it every year. This is the easiest program I have used in a long time.

FINALLY finished with my tax refund!

I ended up owing $68 on my federal return, and getting $300 back for my state return. This was the first year I have EVER owed on my income taxes. I had a lot of new situations occur this past year though. Turbo Tax made it much easier for me, not letting me forget all of the important stuff. It was still stressful - I mean I did end up owing on Federal and it IS tax time, . . . but Turbo Tax made it a lot less so. I survived another tax year. Sooooo glad we don't have to do this for another whole year. :-)
What's great about it: I love how Turbo Tax works you through every little step. It doesn't let you forget anything important.
What's not so great: I was new to Rental Dwelling and 1099-MISC as a scorekeeper at a ballfield. I still found these very confusing.

What's great about it: I like the ease of doing my own taxes.
What's not so great: I wish the continue buttons were at the top of the page instead of the bottom.

Wonderful way to take you thru the tax preparation process with out all the stress and fear. The most difficult part of this, is to get all of your info in order, which you would have to do even if you didn't use Turbo Tax. Sometimes you have some difficulty finding some of the information that TT asks you for, but it is worth the effort in the long run ($).
What's great about it: easy to download, follow, use and file
What's not so great: Extra cost for State file.

TT is pretty easy but often gets confusing or complex especially on the state forms. So far, the addtion of the "community" has answered all my questions but since answers are not "vetted" you are never 100% sure.
