Have been using TTax for IRS and CA state returns since 1987 and have been satisfied overall with the deluxe version. Have not felt the need for pemier version since all of my investments are with a marjor investment firm that provides much helpful information with my year end reports. There have been a few times when special situations were not handled well, e.g. figuring the excluded gain/loss on property sale, and part-yea resident state taxes. Since I am no longer in a state tax situation, I expect TTax to be even easier to use.
What's great about it: Does all the math, prompts for inputs, reviews all options
What's not so great: online help harder to navigate and get answers

good till the end

I am not sure I will use this program in the future. After over 10 years of using it, I can't print the results this year... Very upsetting.
What's great about it: easy to navigate and go back to make changes- good reminders of deductions and memory form last year!
What's not so great: It would not save the files as a PDF file ... only acrobat and I do not have that...

Just completed and e-filed my FIT. I have used Turbo Tax for several years and find it an easy, logical tool to use. I plan on using it again next year.

Turbo Tax turns an extremely complex tax code into a very simple filing process.
What's great about it: Very Easy to use and understand
What's not so great: Even con-men will take advantage of this.

I've used turboTax for years. I'm confident thjat my taxes are figured correctly and that I'm not overpaying. Unfortunately I don't usually get a refund.
What's great about it: ease of use

I have used turbotax for years. It gets easier to use every year. It thinks for you and seems to do a better job of it than I do when it comes to taxes.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Does a lot of thinking for you. Asks the right questions
What's not so great: Not much.
