easy peasy

outstanding ease of filing, most questions answerable from "help" and takes less time than doing it myself. when using quicken throughout the year, it is even more functional at tax time.
What's great about it: clear, concise and help always available
What's not so great: none

It ook a little while to complete the input of information, but I feel assured that my tax forms are complete and hopefully be able to speed up the process next year.

Great Program

Overall, this is the best program I have used. It did allow for input to be overridden and that allowed me to file my taxes. TT is simple to use if you want it to be, "Easy Guide," and it allowed for more experienced users to skip that and go to the revelant forms.
What's great about it: Many ways to enter information
What's not so great: Unable to change input for taxable amount on 1099-R

Here comes the IRS !

Without a substantial, extensive program, developing and submitting a tax return is beyond human comprehension. Turbo Tax, a program I have been using for more than a decade makes it possible to comply with the filing demands of the IRS. California's returns until the last few years simply replicated the federal. Now, because some electect bureaucrat decided that California's system needed a stand alone style filing, Turbo Tax worked wonderfully into the breach. Without the program I would be obliged to hire a professional. And I know that the professional would have to depend upon a tax preparation computer program... and that would likely be an Intuit program.
What's great about it: The audit review gave me comfort
What's not so great: Some of the terminology was tough

As long as you are willing to put your trust in Turbo Tax, it takes a lot of the stress out of completing your taxes. I don't always understand what is happening in the program but I like the results.
What's great about it: Easy to review before filing, made math easy, no searching and shuffling of forms
