Great loved how easy it was and detailed

I loved Turbo Tax Deluxe.
What's great about it: Everything was user friendly.
What's not so great: Liked everything no cons
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easier than ever

Actually doing the taxes with Turbo Tax is easy. I had to stop several times to obtain information. It might be helpful if as the data from last year is imported that a checklist of all items I am going to need was generated. I could look at that list and see if I had everything BEFORE I started so I did not have to stop, find stuff, and come back to finish.
What's great about it: Simple step through process of tax filing
What's not so great: More help in preparation before sitting down.

Paying for State E-File is a crock

I like this product. Saves me time filling out the forms. The money it costs to pay for the product and the state e-file probably makes it worth it. However, I will be searching around next year for a product that includes the fees for federal and state e-file.

What's not so great: Have to pay to e-file state

Could be better and faster with less useless steps

I've used Turbo Tax for many years. That being said, each year they seem to waste more of my time if I follow their recommended steps for entering information. In their desire to not miss "anything" I waste minutes which add up into hours. Another thing I dislike is their penchant for printing too many useless pages when printing up my own copy. As long as I have the program on my computer all I really need is my box of info and receipts plus my tax forms, NOT THE WORKSHEETS that they use to calculate the values entered on those forms. A total of nearly FIFTY sheets of paper between Federal, State and my personal copies. WAY TOO MUCH PAPER AND INK!!! Make it EASY to print only the bare necessities. PLEASE!!! Otherwise the program works rather well. Oh, and I dislike them trying to sell me additional services too. Cut it out, Intuit.
What's great about it: Remembers and enters previous information.
What's not so great: Too many useless steps for most taxpayers.

Turbo Tax is the best tax program I have ever used. Ease of filing and quickness of return is awesome. I have saved hundreds of dollars by using turbo tax.

What's not so great: some deductions are hard to figure out
