Kept me sane!

I have used Turbo Tax for years. I normally have no problems. I like the way it transfers all related and any carry-over items from last years return. Saves me a lot of typing. All "Help" anwsers are in plain "English" for the non-tax people to understand. I have told several of my friends who pay accountant to do their taxes to try using turbo tax to save them some money. If they don't really have complicated taxes. Then they would want me to do it for them and I don't want to be responsible!!
What's great about it: Easy to understand and follow.
What's not so great: I had trouble matching 1099-B items to the turbo form.

Continuing Success

Turbo Tax has been doing our taxes for some 10 or so years and its great to sit down load and let it get all the updates and collect the data from the past year. Showing items from the previous year helps you find the deductions files that are easily overlooked. State down is free and so easy to finish, efile and done.
What's great about it: Have used Turbo Tax for a number of years, consistent high quality and makes doing taxes easy with quides.
What's not so great: Difficult to get an end to a business I was running for a while.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

No way to make the questions that don't appect you and your situation disappear.
What's great about it: Simple Interface
What's not so great: When you say no to a form, it keeps coming back up as a question anyway

Turbo Tax has made filing my taxes for the past few years very easy. I love that it pulls in information from the prior year. That makes it even easier.
The program reviews everything for errors, checks for all allowable deductions and walks you through each step. I love it!
What's great about it: Very easy program to use.
What's not so great: I don't have any cons.
