Using TurboTax to file my returns is quite a satisfying experience. I can leave and return at my convenience, when I have focus time, without having to "go back home and get more papers". Everything is explained clearly, questions answered simply. Thanks for this great experience. This is my third year using TurboTax and it helps me to actually get the filing done before the due date.
What's great about it: This was so easy, step by step direction makes in painless. Very easy to understand.
What's not so great: Like it all.

Better than expected

This is the first time I did my taxes in a long time myself. I have had accounts do them over the past 20 years because I had businesses. Since I am employed again I thought I would give it a try. I actually got deductions that my accountant never told me about! I had to pay, which I expected but it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Thanks and I will be using this again next year!
What's great about it: Easy steps to follow
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Very fast and easy to use. get your information together and the software will easily walk you through the return in understandable layman's terms, no tax jargon.
What's great about it: Very fast, easy to use, straightforward on-screen instructions
What's not so great: none, although the constant updates can be annoying, but that's the IRS

Overall TurboTax was great!
The phone tech support was outstanding.
More work needs to be done to make it easier to use in the sections for deductions for the self employed.
What's great about it: Easy to use, and tech support was fantastic!
What's not so great: Few.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Able to open and select categores you need to up date
What's not so great: not enough help on foreign tax credits

Program would not e-file until update was accomplished. Used help. Still had some problem locating how to update from the menu at top of page. Should be an icon/title to update, also a save, at the top of every page. Everything else in program was fine.
