Best thing I ever did!
Turbo Tax keeps me up on tax issues and possibilities to better track my taxable expenses during the year.
The CPA we used charged us allot and his recommendations were rather vague to the point were you had to pay more for accurate and more detailed information.

Great product that makes taxes not too bad.
What's great about it: Easy to use

I love turbo tax I have used it for years. I did try the other "quick" tax returns to compare and I always have gotten the greatest return from turbo tax.
What's great about it: Easy to use, always accurate
What's not so great: none

CO allows some charitable deductions, in addition to the federal standard deductions, but not with the itemized deductions ... So it is possible that it would be better to do a Standard Federal deduction and then deduct the charitable deductions just the state taxes ... Which is my case ...
What's great about it: TurboTax Moves the data into CO State forms ...
What's not so great: But it doesn't look at the results of Standard vs itemized and the state ...
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Love TurboTax !

We absolutely love TurboTax. It doesn't let you miss a deduction, nor does it let you miss any income sources. The only area that I have a little problem with is entering the info from my trust fund (Sched K-1) and what to do with it after that. However, a quick phone call to a tax expert clears things up quickly. We've used TurboTax for several years now, and wouldn't do our tax returns without it !
What's great about it: Doesn't miss a thing.
What's not so great: Can be a little confusing in certain areas.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Pleased a bunch

The interview process was tedious as I said in the cons but it was thorough which for me was a good thing. It made me hunt down documents that I would have otherwise omitted and not reported, costing me refund $ is some instances and compliance headaches with Unca Sam in others. So, I guess it really wasn’t among the ‘cons’ after all.
What's great about it: Got a great refund from my state
What's not so great: Interview process tedious.

Good Product. Pretty straight-forward. Program calculated things such as moving expenses, correctly, but I would have appreciated more explanation.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Not clear how to contact them to answer questions
