As a retired CPA, I find Turbotax very reliable and able to handle complex situations. And I've taught my kids to use it for their simple returns so I don't have to prepare them anymore. Hurray!

Good but room for improvement

Overall a satisfactory experience with the exceptions noted below. Love having auto-load of prior year return info and financial info from institutions. Saves a lot of re-typing.
Reports function is extensive and easy to use.
However, the program loads slowly even on a high-end laptop running Win7.
The program also makes you jump over hurdles in order to e-file the Fed return but mail-in the State return. It's quite obvious that Intuit wants the extra $ for e-filing State returns.

been using TT since my 1998 tax year. has been getting better every year. Easier to follow and input information.
Well keep using it for years to come.

Not as great as it was

Downloaded my name and initial information but nothing else. Last time it loaded all my interest, dividind and contributritions all I had to do was change the totals. This time I had to add everything plus names address took forever.
