I went the extra mile Tax due...$0.00

This is my third year using TurboTax. I and my wife are retired senior citizens. I earn a little extra to keep our heads above water. When I started doing my Turbo forms, I realized that the 1099 that I received for the extra money had deductions I was entitled to, which reduced my tax burden to zero.
Last year I earned more and paid nothing, so I couldn't imagine paying this year (Taxes went up). The deductions I gleaned from Turbo made it all possible.

What's great about it: Got me down to no tax due through Turbotax suggestions.
What's not so great: Some explanations are exessive and hard to understand.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I don't know what I would do without TurboTax

I really like how it constantly compares this year's fiscal situation to last year's. It is so simple to use and is consistent in its directions from one year to the next. There is an opportunity for me to contact help if I need it or to just review the various tax terms. I feel like it is truly watching out for me, trying to help me get the most out of a very complicated tax law situation.
What's great about it: I can understand everything I am supposed to do. It finds things of which I would never think.
What's not so great: I just printed out my tax forms and they printed out in illegible characters and words.

Another good year

Another good year using TurboTax. We have used this method of tax preparation for many years, now, and appreciate it each year. We travel fulltime in our RV, so need to minimize record keeping. This method permits that. The refunds have been quick, filing is easy, and we are finished now, for another year.
What's great about it: Simplicity, quick refund, minimal record keeping
What's not so great: None

This was my first year using TurboTax! My boyfriend had used it last year and had such great success so I figured I would try it!
Did you know you can claim the donation you made for adopting your dog? Or how about the travel expenses for moving for a new job? ME NEITHER! But TurboTax helped me find ALL of these little deductions and I got almost $1k back this year!
Certainly more that I have EVER gotten in previous years! Thanks TurboTax!
What's great about it: Easy, quick, even a little fun!
What's not so great: Paying for it (but who doesn't)?! It was worth it anyway!

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it easy to use. I like that it automatically fills in last years information. I will buy it again next year.
