Turbo Tax Deluxe

I have ysed Turbo Tax for 10 or more years and have always found it easy and fast to use. I use it to figure the tax for me, and for my two children. Always great!

Makes an arduous task quicker

I've used this product for years because it makes filing your taxes, which is a an absolute pain every year, much less painful.
The best feature is really how it guides you through every step from beginning to end, especially specifics on deductions. This is wonderful for those who need to itemize deductions. It's also very simple to go back and edit anything you may have missed or needed to add.
Of course, being a cheapskate, I genuinely hate how much this costs. And yes, it goes up by $5 or much more every year. But still, this finds more deductions than when I had gone to a tax preparer years ago, and costs less than a tax preparer. Therefore, I choose the lesser of 2 evils.
What's great about it: Quickly guides you through everything.
What's not so great: Price

Close to Perfect

I am a loyal user. It has gotten easier to use over the years. Concerns me that it still has updates this close to tax day or it would get a 5 star.
What's great about it: Moved along smoothly through the process. Good prompts.
What's not so great: Payment for state return is a bummer. Software ran my first and last name together. 1099 G not clear for state refund.

I have used Turbo Tax for almost 20 years and I won't use anything else. I tried another software once and will never make that mistake again. Turbo Tax is easy to use and easy to understand. It's the only tax prep software for me. Thanks Turbo Tax.

I used to doubt /question every step when doing our taxes. We frequently had someone do our taxes. Now, I can do them & feel confident I am using the correct information in the correct places! Love that it's on our schedule not relying on someone else!
What's great about it: step by step easy instruction, faq right there if I need them
What's not so great: I still do not completely understand the entire tax process

return easy; filing tricky

Have used Turbo tax for years; it makes taxes fun. The only down side was waiting on hold, getting a bad connection with EM 405455543, and feeling uneasy about her solution.
What's great about it: walked me thru
What's not so great: waiting on hold b/c state filing would not take my credit card

What's great about it: Turbo Tax always helps me not forget what I should report; I use the tools it provides!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
