Getting Carried Away

No more commercials, or self promotions. We are not shopping for financial software. We are doing taxes, make this one thought your MAIN concern. Make this easier, save buttons, easier screens, better definitions, that is what we need.
What's great about it: Been using for 8 years, no issues
What's not so great: reoccuring screens are annoying, ex 2nd screen asking for your information, then a box asking if you are sure. Give it

I have been using turbotax for years. It is so easy to follow and lets you compare previous year tax info so you don't miss any thing. Even my kids are doing there own taxes now with turbotax.
What's great about it: easy to folow
What's not so great: cost for state e-file

I have used Turbo Tax over and over. It just keeps getting better! I worry before I start every year, but I don't know why, it has never been hard. I am so pleased that you make this product. Thank you!!

Good but a few problems.

Overall fairly simple, but:
Required me to enter a name and amount for alimony paid even though I do not pay alimony and did not last year or the year before etc. So entered "no such person" and "0".

When looking at a form, does not return to previous page, but must go through things to get there.
Had to enter unrecaptured 1250 gain from same column of a K-1 in two places instead of program doing it. Almost missed this.
Has correct bank account info on 1 page but then makes me enter it all over again on another page.
What's great about it: Brings last year forward. Generally straightforward.
What's not so great: Frustrating at times to get to page I want. Needs duplicate info.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I am glad I found this, It really has helped me file my
taxes....

What's great about it: You don't have to worry about the calculations
What's not so great: Can't print just the form , you have to print the back up
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
