Easy Refund

It took me less than an hour to submit my taxes, but I am single with no dependents. I feel like if your taxes get more complicated than that, it might be better to see someone in person.
What's great about it: Quick, cheap, clean design
What's not so great: can't file state taxes for free

Mostly great

Overall, the program was great. When I encountered a problem with my K-1, though, I waited a long time to talk to an agent and then was put on hold for more than an hour. The original agent disappeared, but the new agent who came on the line was super helpful, going the extra mile to ensure I was able to file correctly.
What's great about it: Easy entry for most forms, helpful support once I got the right person
What's not so great: Did not allow for a state k-1 that differed from the federal k-1
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Pretty Good Experience as usual

My father is an accountant and a few minutes away but I still went out and bought Turbo. I have borrowed my in-laws computer and done Turbo at their home the last few years but this year I went for total convenience. I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because of the glitch at the end that wouldn't let me pay with credit card other than that I am quite content as usual with Turbo.
What's great about it: Ease and Trust/Confidence
What's not so great: Glitch at the end to pay by CC

I've used TT for about 10 years with the exception of year when I used a different software package...Big mistake that! I'll never use anything but Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: accuracy, ease of use

I can't find out what happened to my State Refund. It supposedly was done a long time ago, How do I find out where it went?

Turboed My Taxes

The program guides step-by-step through the whole process so it is impossible to get lost. It is much easier than trying to fill out all the forms yourself and much more convenient than going to an office to let someone else fill out the forms for you. Since you can save your progress, you can also do a little a time and come back to where you left off later. I also like that you can go back and review certain things as many times as you'd like. The program seems to be very good at guiding you through all the possible choices. The help box on the side is also very useful -- you get very good answers immediately for even what seems to be the most unique problems.
What's great about it: Fast, easy, clear, convenient, let's you work a little at time
What's not so great: Having to pay taxes? Lots of steps, but better safe than sorry
