Made sense of a confusing year

We had business expenses, disability payments and misc. new tax issues that had us totally confused. Turbo Tax walked us through each of these issues and helped us finish our return with minimal trouble. We couldn't afford to have someone do our taxes and we couldn't have done it without Turbo Tax.

Taxes 2013

Turbo Tax incorporates past entries so the time to use is much less. The questions that are asked walk a person through the process of filing a tax return that is getting more complicated each year, in a simple flow and easy to understand. In past years I have had the IRS say I did things incorrectly, by going through the IRS documentation I was able to point out the error of the IRS and not being able to understand their own rules. Turbo Tax has had it right on 2 ocassions and I wish I could get paid for teaching the IRS their own system. I will continue to use Turbo Tax as long as I file returns that are not a flat tax system.
What's great about it: Incorporates Data from past turbo Tax Returns and this makes an easy process easier
What's not so great: Not having State included in price for E filing

Fast and friendly

It's a lot easier entering the information via computer. When you come back the following year, it's really convenient to have a lot of the information automatically entered. Doing the state return is a snap with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Takes a lot of hassle out of a "not fun" ordeal.

Affordable, and easy. This is usually one of the most frustrating tasks of the year for me...taxes. Turbo Tax is truly a lifesaver, keeping my blood pressure low. I used Turbo Tax several years now with confidence.
What's great about it: simple, well detailed guide
What's not so great: only con would be my ex CPA
