Overall a smooth job completing my taxes. Down loading all the investments and trades went well. The questions and information to clarify what was needed to complete the form was clear and easily understood. Only glitch experienced that was especially frustrating was the program thought my direct deposit information was in a foreign country. The information was accepted last year for the same routing and account.
What's great about it: the program flowed smoothly and was logically easily followed through each area. Made doing taxes painless
What's not so great: It would be nice to have a icon to save other than on the computer w/ the program files

Great Product

Turbo tax is a great and easy product. I did the tx myself and got a bigger refund than the tax prep person I have been going to all these years.
What's great about it: easy and accurate
What's not so great: expensive when you factor in all the filing fees

Easy switch from 3rd party filer to self filing

I used a third party to file my more complicated (self employed) tax returns for the last 9 years. Switching to Turbotax for a simpler return (now and employee) was painless.
What's great about it: Easy to use seems complete
What's not so great: Could use more detail in reasons for filing a particular way

Best version of Turbo Tax yet

I have been using Turbo Tax for years (74 years old) This is the best version yet. I have several souces of income and various types of deductions. If you save the proper documents and line up your forms for reporting fileing your taxes is a breeze. Took less than 2 hours with several breaks. keep up the good work

What's not so great: None that i could see

I have used Turbotax for over 10 years and I like the ability to have my information carry over year to year.
What's great about it: Easy to use and always accurate
What's not so great: If you having something "lost" in the forms it takes a long time to figure out how to correct it

Easy & Complete

I am a first time user of Turbotax. I was getting tired of dealing with paper returns and the associated schedules.
Working with paper is so slow... Not only did Turbotax file my return quickly and easily, I was also able to save a PDF copy to review as I would a paper document. Nice product, glad I finally tried it...

Missed energy property credit

I dug into the explanation of this deduction and found out that I was able to claim this and received an extra $300 refund because I replaced my heat pump with a more efficient one!!!!
What's great about it: Easy to use but -
What's not so great: Missed form 5695 line 24a deduction
