I have used Turbo Tax for many years. Even as I change my situation, add assets, say farewell to children, it adapts to my situation. Even though I have to pay this year, Turbo Tax makes the experience of filling out the forms bearable.
What's great about it: Ease of use, easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: I hate paying taxes, even though Turbo makes it easy.

My 2012 Turbo Tax return experience.

I've used Turbo Tax for a lot of years now and still think it's the best program to use. I've never been audited by the IRS! I always recomend it to all my friends and neighbors.
What's great about it: Easy to use with great support
What's not so great: A lot of updaates even up to filing date.

This is a great program, especially for someone who is not comfortable trusting themselves to do their tax returns.
It is not necessary to know all of the tax laws/rules or have a great knowledge of math to use this program. It is quick and easy to understand (just answer the questions as they show up on the screen) and you can be confident it is done correctly. I plan the use this program year after year.
