Great Product

This logical approach of stepping thru the tax return works great.
What's great about it: Saves me the time of learning every little detail.

Quick and Easy to File

This is my tenth year using turbo tax to prepare my income taxes. Every year the process seems to get easier to use as well as very informative.
What's great about it: Step by Step Guidance feature made the process very user friendly.
What's not so great: Nothing comes to mind in this area.

Perfect for first-timers!

This was the first year I did my own taxes. I was terrified of missing something or making a mistake. TurboTax made everything straightforward and simple. All I had to do was fill in my information. Thank you!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

At one point, schedule C deductions did not effect profit with no explanation. There was a profit, but only some of the deductions reduced the gross to net. Particularly confusing because it did not do that on other sched C.
Foreign Tax Credit -- blocked e-file (presumably because of AMT) and asked for explanations that were not described in the help information. It seemed to require a tax professional and that is what I am trying to avoid in using using Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: ease of use, familiarity with product
What's not so great: problems with schedule C and 1116
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Simplicity is the moment

It was simple to use and the review of the previous tax submission helps you to proceed with ease. This year it brought attention to any changes in the tax laws, and there were many this time, so that mistakes were easier to avoid. I like using TurboTax.
What's great about it: The support of a CPA is available to answer any queries you may have.
What's not so great: Some problems accessing the state tax form but figured it out after a while.
