2012 TURBO TAX

Our return involved the basics plus some CAP GAINS (Sched D). Fairly routine for anyone with a high school education (In my opinion).
What's great about it: "SO EASY A MONKEY CAN DO IT"
What's not so great: HAD TO SEARCH (A LITTLE) TO FIND OUT WHAT TO DO WITH A "K-1" FORM

gets better each year

I've been using TurboTax and TurboTax Corporate for years. I used to use an accountant, but these products provides equal or better results for a lot less money.
What's great about it: easy to use, automically imports info from previous years
What's not so great: none significant

This is the 3rd year I have used Turbo Tax, I love it and I will continue to use it.
What's great about it: Easy to use and enter all of information with 'Easy-Guide' option
What's not so great: I didn't understand all of the reasons it did what it did sometimes. Had to do extra research to understand.

tax prep made easy

I have used this product for several years and always find that it makes the process of filing your taxes easy. Improvements are always being made and I have found them to be good improvements (not always true with software products). Will use again.
What's great about it: guided approach, retrieval of information from financial institutions and previous filings,
What's not so great: Not all financial info available to be retrieved
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Beats hand preparation by miles!

I have been using Torbo Tax for years. Has reduced my preparation time 10 fold and has eliminated errors.
What's great about it: easy of use, transfer of data and yearly record
What's not so great: None

I am no expert on taxes. I know nothing about the laws. Turbo Tax was 100% easy to follow and understand.
What's great about it: super easy to use. Loved it.
