Desire "What if"

I cannot create a file to do "what if" analysis for estimating future tax impacts needed to make decisions about selling assets or converting traditional to Roth IRA's
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Difficult to do "what if"

I recommend to friends. It is easy because questions and steps are intuitive
What's great about it: so easy FUN
What's not so great: always same problem with tax free distribution of old pension

Few problems:
GA return often does not print page 3 (last year always - this year not so much (if at all))

More importantly, when rental properties are owned by more than 1 person, the depreciation is not divided amongst owners like income and expenses. This is a major error.
I question the maximum allowed calculation for SEPs for older individuals. I believe maximum contribution is $50k for all plans.
What's great about it: quite good overall
What's not so great: rental property owned by > 1, question dc limit

I didn't like it when i had to print my returns and the software didn't have a print button to press all it would do is to display my returns with a print preview I had to use the print button from adobe to print my returns

turbo tax experience

it is so easy to use turbo tax...and the transfer from prior year is great. well worth the money to get automated calculations and keep track of where you are. Easy to do a little, stop, and then resume later.
What's great about it: easy guide, automatic calculations, verifications, transfer from prior year

Some glitches this year but a great product & help

There seemed to be some problem including 2 health insur. premiums. Would not pick up spouse premiums. Had to work at finding a solution through TurboTax community and specific question through web site. Could have been a bit more user friendly on that part. Not clear about Sch E about taxes on rental farmland, but I think I found the answer.
What's great about it: Easy to do; helpful info; filling out correct forms; quick filing
What's not so great: some problem w/not including 2 health insur. premiums; had to seek a workaround

Good but could be better!

In downloading int/dividend details, TT does not catch or highlight duplicate data from joint accounts. For example, I down load broker ABC for my data and I also get our joint account data. Then, in downloading my wife's separate ID/Password ABC account data, I get her data AND a repeat of our joint account data. A real pain to capture and correct, not to mention paying higher taxes if I had missed the duplication.
Lack of continuous flow e.g. enter a couple of deduction categories and TT takes you back to the top of the screen to access further categories, and again, and again. Make it all on one Major category screen.
What's great about it: Easy Step; Clear explanations; Error/audit check; form access
What's not so great: No highlight of duplicate download entries; no "continuous" segmental flow for major category entries

Overall rating was exceptional!
What's great about it: Very thorough and specific.
What's not so great: Adoption Credit was a little vague for a failed adoption.
