Made Itemization Simple

TurboTax Deluxe provided everything we needed to simplify our 2012 return. We had both salaries and a small business, and TurboTax was there to guide us every step of the way. The tools they offer allowed us to discover deductions we hadn't known about. Thanks, TurboTax!
What's great about it: Excellent walkthrough of all Income and Deductions
What's not so great: No storage of previous returns in Cloud

Have been using this for years and have not found any reason to switch. Well priced, easy to use and offers options. Wish all the programs I use was as well written.
What's great about it: quick, easy, accurate, well priced
What's not so great: sometimes it is tedious going through all the screens

I have been using this for 6 years now. It transfers all my information so that I do not need to reenter all the basic information.
What's great about it: VERY QUICK TO DO AS LONG AS YOU HAVE YOUR RECORDS

Tough but Valid Payment

To bad IRS adds the withdrawal from a 401k to gross income prior to determining if one qualifies for education loan interest deduction.
How ironic that over $35,000 from the 401k was used to pay off the education loan.
What's great about it: Fast Accurate and covered all the bases
What's not so great: Kept asking if I was ready to do the State Return-Turbo Tax need address validation and note that Texas has none

My Refund Experience

The snapshot in the Cons is the only problem I noticed.
What's great about it: Easy to follow screens
What's not so great: In CT tax I was able to enter a subtraction for RI income tax more than once without software catching mistake

easy and quick to use, especially with detailed instructions. but my state tax was selected for audit, which is not accordance with TurboTax delux audit forecast...

Taxes Made Easy!

Fifteen years ago a co-worker suggested I try Turbo Tax. I have been using the product ever since and can happily report 15 years of solid success. Turbo Tax is by far the best product out there for home tax preparation!
What's great about it: No guess work, easy to use, great extra help, time saver
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
