EASY FILLING and FILING

Using Turbo Tax is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Easy Guide takes you step by step through the process and takes the worry out of whether you are doing it right or not. The program is like a "Taxes for Dummies." Very easy to use....would recommend it highly!
What's great about it: easy guide for step by step filling in the blanks
What's not so great: red numbers at end, not green

As Ever - Excruciating but Easy

We've been using TurboTax for years - even with somewhat complicated returns - and have been totally satisfied with both the methodology and the relative ease of finishing the job.
What's great about it: Simple to follow
What's not so great: Still needs lots of paperwork

Good, But You Still Need to Check

I have used Turbotax for years. I still think it's be best around. However, to get the best result, I think you still need to read and understand the tax rules yourself. Also, even though my return isn't terribly complex, there are still times when it leaves me hanging; I have to look up the tax code, calculate something myself, and enter the number without much guidance from TTax. Most importantly, if I had not gone back and tried something different, I would have gotten a smaller refund. TTax had me use State Income Tax (vice State Sales Tax) as an itemized deduction on the Federal Schedule A. However, since we needed to pay AMT, this didn't help at all for Federal. However, to get the largest state tax refund, it turned out I needed to use State Sales Tax on the Federal form. This seems like a basic thing that would apply to many of the people on AMT, but TTax does nothing to check for this. I had to figure it out on my own and almost missed it. Beware.
What's great about it: Easy to use, does all the calculations, helps keep you from missing things
What's not so great: Not as good on state level; Won't always find your maximum refund

Easy Breezy!!

Overall I would say that this is a great investment for those who have a straight ahead return. I have used other tax software in the past because of price, but Turbo Tax is by far the easiest to use and most comprehensive.
What's great about it: Idiot proof, guides you through all the necessary questions
What's not so great: Community or help section wasn't that helpful

Stress Relief

I don't have really complicated taxes, but this really reduces the stress.
What's great about it: Guides you through and reminds you what you did last year
What's not so great: A real easy way to pull up the comparison with the previous year

Turbo Tax is a great product!

I like:
1. Ease of use - instructions for use & explanations of tax verbage included all along the "Turbo Tax path of entry!"
2. Explanations written in easy to understand language.
3. Multiple possible tax scenarios in the program - stimulate thoughtful review of your tax situation. This gives you opportunity to remember possible deductions that you may have otherwise not remembered.
4. Reasonable cost of Turbo Tax.
5. Ease of filing options.
Don't like:
1. Nothing - We like & have used Turbo Tax for years!

Help for Senior & Lower class Persons

Iwas unable to save the return on excel, but i was able to save with last years turbo program. I can save to adobe than print the return. Overall i think the program is great. I do answer questions for seniors who are have trouble with their tax return ( no Charge). easy program for going from step by step or forms.
What's great about it: That I can Look Up tax information quickly.
What's not so great: Save to the adobe, My program does not save to excel.
