Great System

Happy I tried Turbo Tax

I tried Turbo Tax 4 years ago and I like that once you enter information it will automatically put that info in the next year where it applies. It gives you good suggestions when undecided and helps you all along the way. I am up in age and happy that they explain things very well. Each year it is easier. I have recommended Turbo Tax to a lot of people.
What's great about it: Like that it calculates and gives choices
What's not so great: Some of the language is not easy to understand but think it out

Painless Process

I recommend this software to anyone with relatively simple circumstances, wishing to itemize deductions if appropriate, and not wanting to spend excess cash having someone else do taxes for them.
What's great about it: Clearly walked me through every single step, and allowed me to return to a section for further editing.
What's not so great: Figuring out how to print was a bit problematic.

Can't Hardly Wait Every Year

I've used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. I have introduced this product to everyone I know who do their own taxes. I am so satisfied with Turbo Tax, I will not even think of using the other tax preparing products.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy
What's not so great: You pay more online than buying the software.

Great Product

I use Turbo tax every year. Well worth the money. I was very glad that I was able to load all of my stock information this year.
What's great about it: Takes you through deductions you dont know about.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Another year using Turbo Tax

Filed every return for the last 13 years using TurboTax. And to think I had to do this by hand when I was younger. Like the import features for my W-2 and investments. Takes a bit to navigate to the real returns to check and see if everything looks right. But I am former tax accountant that am glad there is TurboTax to take me through everything instead of having to keep up on all the tax rules.
What's great about it: Step by Step so I don't miss anything
What's not so great: Lots of questions that don't apply
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Ease of complicated taxes

My tax burden is greatly eased thru the use of Turbo Tax. My taxes are complicated due to the nature of our farming operation.. My friends cannot believe that I prepare my own taxes and avoid going to a tax prep service. The only advice I have required for ears is everything supplied by Turbo Tax.... Thank you..
