This years return was done in a matter of no time. I really liked that Turbo Tax pulled all of my previous years info including efilling and direct deposit information.
Turbo Tax turned what would normally be a big headache into something that was actually quite enjoyable to do.

Best way to keep all record

I used Turbotax for many years and recommends all my friends to do that same. It's simple, easy and keeps all the record! Not wanting to spend time get all documents prepared before seeing a CPA? 90% of the tax return is to get those documents ready, and what most CPA does not tell a middle class family is that they only work on the easist way to file a return. Then why pay more, and get someone just to do 10% of the work the easy way? With all the tips you'll be an expert very soon..
What's great about it: I love the way Turbotax can import all my pevious returns and make comparison
What's not so great: Need better structure to auto import information from banks, and link to IRS for new rules

Easy to use

TurboTax is a good product, especially for folks who don’t have super complicated tax situations. I find it very easy to use; the software guides you through each aspect of the tax form and helps you to understand how to answer prompts when needed. It even lets you know when it’s presenting some scenarios that may be applicable to you, but they are uncommon. There is also an error check and audit risk evaluation at the end. The one challenge I have had, is that when I need to come back to a field - i.e. something that I needed to go find a receipt for, or change the value of - I sometimes have difficulty finding or getting to that needed field (Example: sales tax paid on large purchases – this took me forever to find again). Overall, a good product!
What's great about it: Software is easy to follow, remembers your data from last year
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to find/get to specific entry areas

Turbo Tax hasn't failed me in over 15 years!!

I have been using Turbo Tax for at least 15 years, and I have never had one problem. It is very simple to use, even though I own a home and itemize my deductions, and leads me through each part, step by step. I don't ever dread doing my taxes each year, because I know I will have Turbo Tax, which practically does them for me, and will stand behind me if any problems occur!!
What's great about it: Simple, quick, help is at your fingertips if needed.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax continues to be a quick and convenient way to handle one of life's more irritating responsibilities. I always feel sure that I've completed my returns thoroughly with TurboTax, and it's always just about as painless as it can be.

I've used turbo tax for more than 6 years and it seems to get more user friendly every year, I like the current format. Keep up the good work and I'll reccomend this program to anyone who does their own tax returns.
