Breezed right through preparation.

Entering data was basically a no-brainer. Entering info for charitable deductions was a little harder than it should have been. I thought it was easier last year. At the end, it asked for employer info (zip code and location), and it wouldn't e-file without it. This was dumb, because there was no employer and no W-2! Other than that, everything went very smooth.
What's great about it: Almost everything
What's not so great: At end it asked for employer info, and wouldn't continue without it.

Idaho Error (Attn. Customer Support)

Doesn't Idaho want any e-files? Turbo Tax won't let me e- file my State Return because Line 13 on a State Worksheet for Idaho Taxes Withheld says "Other Taxes Withheld". The amount input is "0" (which I didn't enter) but then Turbo Tax says my Tax Return can't be e-filed because there are other Idaho taxes withheld. Is this an error the State made or a Catch-22 Turbo Tax put in? I do not understand what is wrong. I e-filed my State return last year without any problem. Please help. I have had such a good impression of TurboTax before. What am I doing wrong?
What's great about it: Data transfer from the federal form is a breeze. I usually like Turbo Tax very much, but have run into a snag here.
What's not so great: Won't let me e-file my return because of data I didn't enter.

Super easy

Overall, it is easy and quick for the tax return. One thing I like best is that it can import information from last year's tax return, which will save you tons of typing. I just spend a couple of hours to get it done!
What's great about it: It is super easy for tax return. Just follow the instructions step by step.
What's not so great: Some banks' brokerage record can't be imported. You need type each transaction which is quite time consuming and tediou

Awesome program

Not only was TurboTax a cheap alternative to the other tax companies, it was super easy and fast to use. I'll never use another company to file my taxes.
What's great about it: Fast N Easy
What's not so great: Absolutely nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
