Nice & Easy

I have used Turbo Tax for the past 10 years. TT makes doing your own taxes quick and easy. I plan to continue to use TT in the coming years which I believe is the best endorsement!
What's great about it: Easy to follow and complete
What's not so great: could use some tax tips for the coming year

We have been using Turbo Tax for seven years now. Over the years it has gotten even easier to use and we are always happy to see the amount of the refund!

I liked trying different scenarios like Married but filing separately as apposed to filing Jointly. I had heard sometimes it is better to file separately but for us Jointly was best.
What's great about it: versatile
What's not so great: Did not come right out and say I could not get credit for the Honda Hybrid I bought. I had to reasurch it on my own.

Serious rise in expectations

I guarantee that I will use Turbo Tax henceforth.
What's great about it: Very easy to understand and list items.
What's not so great: Giving social security payments were a little hard to find.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great product

I have been using TurboTax for many years and don't think the software can be beat for ease of use. The question and answer method of getting the information from the user to complete the return works very well. I use TurboTax for both my Federal and State returns. Information gathering for both returns is compiled when the federal return is being completed. It's an easy way to accurately complete a necessary chore.
What's great about it: Ease of use.

Clean as a whistle.

I needed to fill in something I had left out and ended up filling in areas I had already completed, thus re-creating my return, which dramatically reduced my refund(scary). I quickly discovered my error but it took me a while to locate what I was backtracking to fill in. My mistake. However, one screen that included ALL fields completed might be useful for backtracking and pinpointing. Thanks.
What's great about it: Smooth, quick and easy to follow.
What's not so great: confusing backtracking for errors

Taxes are never fun..but Turbo Tax made it easier

This is my second year using Turbo Tax to file our taxes. I thought it was pretty easy to use last year, so I decided to go with it again this year. I find that it is user friendly and can generally complete my taxes in under an hour.
The prompts are easy to follow and it basically holds your hand through the entire process. Overall, it's a great product and I'll use it again next year.
The only thing I would point out that I didn't care for are the help boxes are difficult to read and some of the prompts are limited in information.
