Turbo Tax is decent

I will probably always use TurbTax but next time I will file right away and not wait to file after, I've already submitted my information.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Had to submit my information multiple times to finally be able to file

This is our 5th year using TurboTax. It has been very easy to use and has actually taught us a lot about our taxes and deductions.

Fantastic Filing

We had a difficult year to file - had to pay back to the feds - but Turbo Tax checked and rechecked to ensure we were not overpaying. We also maximized our refund from the state.
What's great about it: Taking us through deductions carefully
What's not so great: Oh please! None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Peace of Mind

I have used Turbo tax for many years now and am satisfied every time I use it. My refunds are so fast doing the e-file and I have my files saved for years. No need to keep paper copies. Thank you Turbo Tax. Ü

TurboTax 2012

For some odd reason, TurboTax refused to download some investment forms as promised. It also got confused about employee expenses. I'm a civil servant and had some employee expenses. Filling out the form seemed to go well. But when I got to File, TurboTax refused to File because I hadn't filled out info about vehicle used in employment. But I had never suggested I used a vehicle, did not use one, and had no vehicle expenses, nor did I claim any. The only way to fix confusion was to go back and remove ALL my employee expense info, re-enter the exact same info, and File again. Annoying but not fatal to the process.
What's great about it: Quick and generally painless.
What's not so great: Program is not as intuitive as I would like, gets confused, and failed to download investment forms
