endless frustration

State was OK, but the ENDLESS updates to E-file federal was maddening. Don't know why I bothered to buy the disc - The whole program had to be replaced by updates.
What's great about it: Didn't have to do it by hand
What's not so great: Would have been faster and less frustrating done by hand.

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy

I really like using Turbo Tax this year. The stepwise progression from beginning to end and the review steps made me feel comfortable and allowed me to review a couple of times to make sure I had all the right info and numbers.
What's great about it: asked all the right questions for each document
What's not so great: none that I know of

TT Asks more questions than our accountant did

In all Turbo Tax has enabled us to prepare our own taxes with step-by-step instructions. Fully guided on what to add and enter. This is our 4th or 5th year on Turbo Tax, it will be hard for me to use any other preparation services.
What's great about it: Step-by-step instructions, total guidance
What's not so great: didn't import all info from last year.

One Tax Filed!

Federal taxes were easy as usual but with a college student living in two different states in one year and receiving interest on a saving account in another proved to be a bit confusing on the state taxes.
What's great about it: Fairly straight-forward

Turbo Tax is organized in a very easy format that even a "caveman" can follow. Every section is easy to follow and has explanations as detailed as you want to read or just the main ideas. It is quick, easy and almost painless (unless you have taxes due!).
What's great about it: Quick and Easy
What's not so great: The box that says "Taxes Due"

Smooth Sailing!

I was impressed with how easy it was to follow the guidelines and check every aspect of my returns. I will always use Turbo Tax from here on. There is no reason we should not be able to take care of our own income tax filing. I am an older person using the computer, but I have to say this was extremely easy. I had very little stress, even though I had to pay this year. Even the payment process was simple.
What's great about it: Clear and concise, easy to follow instructions....was able to go back as many times as I wanted to check on my entries.

Easier than ever!

I've been using TurboTax for years and this year's experience was more streamlined and user friendly than ever before. Prior years it seemed I was forced to review a lot of options that I knew didn't apply, but that wasn't the case this year--considering I was doing taxes, it was almost a pleasant experience!
What's great about it: Friendly, easy to use interface--didn't force me to review areas I didn't need to...
What's not so great: Several sales pitches in the process

Turbo Tax makes it easy to go through the process. I like how easy it is to go back and check something and then pick up where you left off. This aspect has really improved over the years.
