Turbo Tax saved me a lot of money and it is relatively easy to use. I spent only a couple of days to file my income tax to the federal and state governments and the e-filings were so convenient. This is the second year for my Turbo Tax experience. I believe I shall use it for many years to come.
What's great about it: easy to follow the instructions
What's not so great: transfers from financial institutions can be difficult

Quick and Easy

User interface seems neater and less cluttered than past years. I seemed to be able to work thru my return quicker than in the past as well.
Unfortunately, it didn't save me from having to pay the taxes I owed!
What's great about it: Seemed more streamlined this year
What's not so great: with the changes to the interview process, kept wondering if I missed anything

Possible Tweak

Overall I am very happy with Turbotax and have used it for a few years now. The only problem I have run into was the fact that if you leave the income section of a W-2 blank the program does not draw your attention to it and will e-file with it showing 0.00. I would recommend adding a verification during the review process that it should remain blank. ultimately it is the user of the software's responsibility to ensure all areas are filled out, but was a $1097.00 lesson learned when the IRS contacted me this year.
What's great about it: Easy flow of the program from one step to the next
What's not so great: Doesn't not flag empty W-2 Income field and verify it should be 0.00
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Over-all, Turbo-Tax performed as expected. I have used the program for over ten years with satisfactory results. This year included the Federal and two state returns. So far, no problems.
What's great about it: Covered everything. Appears nothing was left out.
What's not so great: The program is becoming a little costly.

Overall TurboTax worked well for me, except as noted above. When volunteering my trips vary making mileage different for each trip. The only way I could get this portion to work was to divide the number of trips by the mileage. Could the program be corrected/changed to except total mileage for the year? Say, with a question such as:
Volunteer Mileage Number of Trips_______
Total Mileage Per Trip _______ (If destination the same)
Varying Mileage Per Trip Total Mileage for XXXX _______
Where XXXX put in the tax year.
Volunteer Mileage Number of Trips_______
Total Mileage Per Trip _______ (If destination the same)
Varying Mileage Per Trip Total Mileage for XXXX _______
Where XXXX put in the tax year.
