My Tutbo Tax Review

I think this is a great program, this is the first time that I have entered my taxes on my own. I really thought it was going to be a complicated process but it was relatively easy. I enjoyed using this program. Each section was laid out perfectly. The only thing I would like to add is a better help section. The tax program was user friendly and inviting. The current help sections are cold and uninviting.
What's great about it: Step by step process,
What's not so great: Sometimes I got lost going back to another section after I made a mistake

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. I am usually a beta tester, but this year I was on my own. I am always amazed at how much effort is put into getting the program perfect every year. I do get tired of answering questions that don't apply to my taxes, but it is very thorough and saves you every penny you deserve. I never fear an audit because I know my taxes are right the first time with turbo tax.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: Having to scroll to the bottom of the screen after each section.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I really liked using this software. The questions it asks are very helpful in guiding you through the entire process. Even when I didn't see on the software some of the forms that I had in hand, the search function made it very easy to find out whether those forms were necessary in my return.
What's great about it: Very Simple to Use
What's not so great: Had to search for some forms.
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Made A Once Arduous Task Easy and Stress-Free

When I don't have all the time in the world to worry about getting taxes done, TurboTax is there to make the confusing language of tax forms understandable. Sure, taxes can be done without any assistance, but this program takes all the stress out of taxes. Filing both federal and state is easy when all the information can be imported, so you don't have to type everything twice.
If you don't mind spending a lot of time and losing hair over confusing tax forms, TurboTax isn't for you; consider becoming a tax professional. For the rest of us, there's TurboTax.
