Got me thru a complicated filing

I like following the question guide to get thru all the steps, and skip over those that do not apply
What's great about it: Was able to handle a one time Foreign tax credit
What's not so great: When ever I had to go back to review or edit, had to answer all the same questions over
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and it gets better each year.
What's great about it: Easy guide throughout the process. Clear questions.
What's not so great: It was necessary to go to the website to file an extension. I would have preferred the software to walk me through this

This application is a life saver. Completing the paperwork for federal and state taxes using the tax books and forms method is tedious and exhausting. TurboTax makes the whole process easy and seamless through it's question and answer based process. My federal and state tax returns were done in hours as compared to the days that it took me in previous years with paper forms and work books. Answers to questions are just a click away with TurboTax help files and tax experts are available at any time you need them. With the ever increasing complexity of tax preperation, TurboTax is a life saver for everyone.
What's great about it: quick, easy, thorough, accurate calculations

Very easy as always

Very good product. It guides you through every aspect of filing and even points out things that you may have never thought of for income and deductions. Allows you flag items that you want to review further or come back to later if you need more documentation so that you can do a trial run to see where you stand in your return. Produces multiple saved forms from the all encompassing ever form and worksheet to the simple summary of your return. I will plan on using again in the future.
What's great about it: Helps you make sure you don't miss something
What's not so great: Didn't realize automatically I'm in a no state tax filing state

Prepare and File Taxes - Simplified using TurboTax

I like TurboTax,-The Interview style is like having a professional tax preparer guiding me thru the program. I love the process of Transferring the previous year's data, it save a lot of time since only the current year's amounts have to be added.. The Review is excellent- it double checks for errors and indicates the areas to be corrected.The e-fling is great- Just a few key clicks and the return is filed--There no standing in a line at the Post office to file a return
What's great about it: Transfer of info from previous year, Interview style of tax program
What's not so great: You have an excellent program--leave it alone !!!
