Love it!

I've used TurboTax since the late '90's. I love that the program pulls info forward from year to year. The interview format makes complicated stuff look easy. I recommend TurboTax for everyone!

When I looked for help in making specific decisions, the help frequently pointed only to other federal documents or redirected me to user groups. The help frequently was not available within the application itself.
What's great about it: Good user interface; generally clear instructions
What's not so great: Help frequently does not have help needed

Had a hard time knowing what information was entered. Should show form as infor is entered or downloaded. I ended up with double entries and had to correct info. Werry difficult to get to info to make corrections in the review portion. Would not let me enter info directly to form shown.
What's not so great: made double entries with auto downloading statements.

Better than last year

Errors in the state form, (corrections to be made) were confusing. Blank (space) to be typed in should blink or be color highlighted to differentiate it from other blocks where no action is required..
Also: Give users option to put address info in the "cloud" in case info is lost from previous year due to computer crash/hack/or change.
What's great about it: import of previous year is good
What's not so great: correction guidance given for state was unclear

Worth the extra money!

I strayed from home and I went for cheaper - it seemed to make sense inthese tight times. The other guys screwed up a table and called me at work to say sorry!?! I had to refile and pay the state. No mistake, I owed the money -I just have to may my refurn and more to pay up!
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: Just a few dollars more
