Glad I'm back

I'm back with Turbo tax after struggling with Tax Slayer last year. I feel as though they did not file my taxes correctly.
What's great about it: I appreciate the detailed approach and intuitive feel of the software

Easy as American pie

A great product with very good inprovements every year!
What's great about it: Breezed through my filing, most of my information was there already from last year, W-2 look-up was a snap.
What's not so great: Almost too easy...but being able to review on the fly, builds a lot of confidence...

Better Than Expected

This years software appeared to modify the questions so they were easier to understand what was being asked. It also seemed more intuitive based on the information provided to ask the additional questions to make sure all bases were covered.
Overall I liked it better than previous years.

What's not so great: Software stalled on occasion. Had to restart application.

It insisted on w-2 state and zip! I didn't have any, all mine were 1099. Go figure, I threw some numbers in and it worked.

State Tax Review Scarce

No Fed tax to be paid, but State (CO) tax was owed. Does not make sense. No explanation of why I, a full-time student in college, and who made $2200 in 2012 has to pay $58 in State taxes. Really?

Quick and Efficient

We have been using Turbo Tax for at least ten years and I have never had a problem with any of our returns, both State and Federal.
What's great about it: It covers everything and double checks the work as you proceed.
What's not so great: I didn't need all the material included in the Deluxe edition, but I had to go through it in order to finish my return.

It really is a pleasure to use the TurboTax software each year. It really "takes you by the hand" and guides you smoothly and efficiently through the often times complicated process of filing taxes.Thank you
What's great about it: Have been using TurboTax for a number of years and love the ease of the software
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
