1098-T

TT would not account properly for qualified education expenses after you enter any 1098-T information. It gets tripped up if the school doen't report anything in box 2 on the 1098-T.
Also prevents you from filing electronically. Didn't appreciate that at all.
Evidently, I wasn't the only one to be tripped up by this.
Needs to be fixed!!!

#1 for tax time

I wouldn't think of doing my taxes any other way. I have even been audited once and had no issues at all. Turbo tax is Excellent and a very reliable resource.

What's great about it: Saves time by bringing my information in from the previous year and provides interface to automatically enter my W2.
What's not so great: I would like to see lower costs for multiple states and the efile process

This is easy to follow and a fast way to complete your taxes. I have been using Turbo Tax for at least four years!

Quick and Easy

I have used TurboTax a couple of times and will continue to use it. I really enjoy the fact that is carries over your information from previous years. This feature helped me capture a deduction that I more than likely would have missed.
What's great about it: Pulled from last years info, easy input method
What's not so great: Updates were a little slow to install

Over 5 years using the product

I've used turbo tax for more than 5 years and have always been pleased with the result. It seems intuitive and very easy to use. I have always, with the exception of a couple years, computed and filed my own income taxes. Turbo Tax makes the job so much easier and it always does the math right.
What's great about it: So easy to go back and re check and/or edit values.
What's not so great: None

used for many years, never had a problem with filing or refunds. I hate those ads on tv that say they will get your maximum refund, not everyone get a refund
What's great about it: comparison shown for last year
What's not so great: that I have to pay more taxes, but not your fault
