BLASTED ME THROUGH THE PROCESS

I dreaded doing taxes this year just didn't feel like doing them. I have a new computer and Turbo Tax was able to find and import my personal information and last years tax information from my old computer which started me off great. Then when I started entering data it made it easy to get information from my work and financial institutions. Thanks
What's great about it: Importing of information and the ability to check numbers against the year before
What's not so great: I tried cutting and pasting from other documents and it didn't allow me to do it.

Great Product

Works very well but my only gripes are that the estimated tax refund does not immediately show the numbers that are used to get result.
The extra fee for having the refund be taking out of tax return. I almost made the mistake of not using my credit card to pay the fee.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy
What's not so great: Estimated return only shows end calculation, extra fee if state return

First Time Joint, worked like a charm!

We just got married last year, and were unsure about how to do our taxes. The TurboTax software worked well, and got us a great refund.
What's great about it: Easily handled the combined forms, very nice refund.
What's not so great: Had to look up where to put excise tax

I used itemized charitable deductions. It was easy to find item prices and retrieve data once entered. It also handled stock sales well. It was easy to make changes. It was very, very detailed in questions, which helped make sure we covered everything.
What's great about it: It covered everything!
What's not so great: It did not add acct # to 1040 for I-Bond

Quick and accurate way to all the pain

I've used Turbo Tax for quite a few years and have complete confidence in the product. Every year it seems to get better and better. It handles even complex transactions with ease. It takes the worry and stress out of preparing a tax return. It isn't magic . . . I still owed a TON of additional tax but even at that, I was confident the stupid taxes had been calculated correctly.
What's great about it: Thorough, easy to use, reliable
What's not so great: Didn't like the results but that's not Turbo Tax's fault

Vacation jeopardized

there is a problem with the 1098-T form. I can't use the education credit as my ex claims my son. TTax will not let me file even though I paid already and it keeps referring me back to needing to address these forms. There is no delete option. As a result, my vacation is on hold until I can get this resolved somewhere else. I will NEVER recommend your program to anyone except my enemies.
What's great about it: nothing
