Quick and Easy Work of a Dreaded Task

I always put filing taxes off to the last minute due to worrying. Sometimes I use a CPA but find that I am ultimely responsible for any errors. I don't feel comfortable with them doing my taxes and e-filing them before I have had a chance to review them. I work slower but I know the numbers that I entered are correct. I enjoyed doing my taxes with Turbo Tax. Expect to use Turbo Tax next year as well.

So quick, through, and the task if filing taxes is over!!
One can file, pay, and send in one sitting.
Best to have all your figures ready before hand, and then it is a simple process

What's great about it: great to have repeat informatin from the prior year just pop up!1
What's not so great: Couldn't find any/except government uses to much paper!!

this is my 10th year using Turbo tax, it is always reliable and efficient way of doing your personal taxes
What's great about it: ease of entry
What's not so great: unreimbursed business expense is a little hard to figure out
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

First timer's fear

I really liked using turbo tax and I think next year it will be easier but this year was hard. I haven't done my taxes by myself before and I got alittle frustrated following everything and knowing what might be for me and what wasn't. I kept thinking I was surely missing something. I wish it knew when I logged back in where I left off or if I could flag items that I had questions about so I could easily go back later. Maybe it did and I just didn't know it. I did love that I could go back and forth between the step-by-step and the real forms so I could look at last year's tax forms and follow them a bit. I also really liked the feature that let me upload some of my files. Nice and easy, next year will be way better!
What's great about it: I really liked the step-by-step but also the ability to look at the forms to follow last years return.
What's not so great: I'm not familiar with most of this and sometimes things weren't explained well enough.

I have been using TurboTax for over 14 years and it is by far the most efficent and simple program for compiling your tax returns. I have previewed other programs but always return to the BEST!
What's great about it: Simple, easy to understand, consistent

Not a clue without TurboTax

I am not good with complicated language, but the TurboTax program explains everything and makes everything understandable so I know if it applies to me or not. Tax language turned into common language.
What's great about it: Makes taxes simple
What's not so great: Can't think of a con
