What a Relief!

Very thorough and easy to use. I organized myself before I started and it was a snap. Even when I did have some questions, TT had the answer or was able to guide me in finding it. A great value.
What's great about it: The help sections are the best part. A real lifesaver.
What's not so great: Constant pitches to upgrade.

I feel real comfortable with Turbo Tax and have been using it for at least 10 years. Tax time is never pleasant and passing the Fair Tax would make it a whole lot easier, but until then, I will continue to use Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Fast, guided me through every step and checked my entries
What's not so great: Sometimes being too thorough can take additional time

Not Rocket Science

At the end of the program it does not allow you to bypass "STATE" even when your state does not have a required return.
What's great about it: Well laid out for the most part.
What's not so great: Medical deduction list was confusing espically when you have a lot of deductions.

The interface is great, clear and clean and easy to use, and the navigation is very logical. I had a problem only when I had to do error correction and didn't realize that there was a field where I was supposed to put the changed data. I'm a left-brain, logical, analytical person, so I love the text-based approach. If you ever go to all icons, I will go back to doing my taxes manually!
What's great about it: Sooo simple! And I love getting last year's data transferred in.
What's not so great: I have to page down on the summary pages (old monitor!).
