Helped the whole family

TurboTax is easy to use, always up to date, great review application, and keeps me organized Once you do a return the first time, next year is a snap. Makes the whole tax experience less stressful. Lets you proforma next years' return.
What's great about it: Did my return kids' return, parents' return and aunt's return
What's not so great: Only I had to pay!!

Refund for 2012 was Great

You need better import means for TAX return info imported directly from Fidelity as this resulted in confusing errors in that part of income that was for foreign taxes paid, CA or Fed exempt. interest and/or dividend income.
Also I didn't not scrolling down thru some lengthy summary pages. to see just where I was, besides having to start completely over after a few days of inactivity by having to scroll thru to the point where I last worked on a topic before exiting for the day. I believe in prior years, I automatically went to the topic point where I had previously finished up before exiting.

What's great about it: Easy to go thru with explanationsshown as req'd/needed
What's not so great: Had a problem with 6 errors that were generated by import from Fidelity Investments for my stocks & IRA's.

Not too bad

I've been using TurboTax for a few years now. All the way through my marriage and purchase of a house. I think I'm going to take my refunds to a tax expert next year, but I'm only doing that just to be triple sure I'm not missing any major deductions I may be able to pick up. I'm sure I'm not - but it's more a matter of curiosity!
What's great about it: Quick, Simple, Decent Definitions to help analyze if you're eligible for a refund.
What's not so great: Hard to modify line items on state returns.

It's fun doing your own return

Using Turbo Tax insures my privacy as opposed to using some service in our small town operated by people who know me.
I really like the simplicity of use and the accuracy. This is the 4th year I've used and will use Turbo Tax next year.

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years now and I wont go anywhere else. I work at a tax service and I still do my taxes via Turbo Tax. If you have a more complex tax situation it does help to have a little tax knowledge, or at least be willing to look stuff up on the IRS website. I love using Turbo Tax and recommend it highly.

Turbo Tax Maxxed Out

Turbo Tax is SOOOOOOO easy , I have recommended it to several of my friends who have paid year after year to a so called Professional Accountant , HAHAHAHAHA , What a joke they are . One friend trusted me to try TT , then questoned what their refund was , they then paid someone to prepare their taxes and come up with a smaller refund , my friend checked their work against TT and found several deductions the Professional had missed , This is a TRUE story , another example another friend of mine comes to me and ask " Hey who does your taxes ?" What do I say? " I do , who else would I let do it " proceeded to tell him How I have done my own taxes with Turbo Tax for the last 5 years after I was ripped by a Professional tax person , HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA , man that cracks me even to put someone down as a Professional Tax Accountant . But any way Thanks Ladies and Gentlemen for Turbo Tax , a Truly MAXXED out product
