Disappointed

I really did not like the fact that my state return could not be efiled under this system because I had two adjustments for depreciation in form 4797. This was not true in the past, and I have used Turbotax for several years now. As a result, I had to use paper.
What's great about it: Gets you there
What's not so great: Clunky; State e-filing not allowed

TurboTax came through again!

I've used TurboTax for a few years, and like the interview format. I know I can count on getting my returns completed in a couple of hours.
Problem: TurboTax wanted me to purchase the state software when I had already done that. A phone call to a customer service rep (who I was able to talk with immediately) quickly gave me the info I needed to proceed.
What's great about it: Auto entry of last year's info & W-2.
What's not so great: Interview format seemed simpler in other years.

Software difficulties

NET 4.0 framework error caused an endless loop of problems. Turbo Tax's solutions either didn't work or were too complex for the average computer user and, unfortunately, didn't show up until the update patch was applied in April (too late to get the problem fixed). The framework program was installed by the original turbo tax software with no problem, when TT was installed on a different computer!
What's great about it: Overall software improved from last year with more options
What's not so great: Software hung up with update patch.

Each year I use TurboTax and each year it's gets easier and easier.
What's great about it: Everything, it's quick and easy and accurate so I feel very safe using this product
What's not so great: none that I can think of . . . maybe price
