Quick and Easy

We have been using TurboTax for our personal taxes for many years now and it has always been a breeze! The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow and e-filing is so convenient. We will definitely continue using TurboTax for our future filings!

Super easy to follow instruction and understand

This software is super easy to follow. I highly recommend it if you are itemizing deductions. It also allows you to quickly link to information on all tax issues as you address them.
What's great about it: Excellent software with easy to understand instructions and questions.
What's not so great: NONE. It works perfect!

There is a peace of mind that comes from using TurboTax. The questions asked ensure that all necessary information will be included for an accurate Federal return. Then filing the state return is easy with imported data. There is no better way.......

The point and click application is very easy to use. The pop up helps were well written and easy to understand. I went through my tax return within an hour and had no errors. Filling using Turbo Tax is a no brainer!!! If you can read and understand English you will be a tax pro!

Saved Me Money!!

Just so easy to use and gets you the biggest refund possible. It knows what forms you need and how to fill them out. Great software!!! Well worth the money!!

This version of Turbo tax is good for someone with average deductions. It also allows you to enter employee stock purchase without having to upgrade.
What's great about it: Easy and straightforward
What's not so great: Doesn't cover all tax situations
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

2012 Review

I wasn't sure the information I entered was saved when I ended a session, so I clicked on File/Save just in case. It would be nice if there was an Exit icon that would assure me that the information is saved.
Also, both this year and last year I missed the deduction for State Sales Tax on the first time through and had to go back to pick it up - was that me or the program?
What's great about it: It saved a lot of time by remembering Charity data from last year.
What's not so great: Missing Exit Icon
