Turbo Tax is a good thing

It was a little overwhelming trying to get the SSA-1099 information entered. All questions were laid out very well. Overall, I found Turbo Tax ideal in their questions and moving forward.
What's great about it: Takes you through all areas of filing, good detail
What's not so great: How and where to enter retirement 1099,

Easy as 1, 2, 3

As always, a carefree experience. Turbo Tax is definitely in a class of its own. I have zero knowledge of tax code or how to go about even starting my taxes on my own, but Turbo Tax made it easy. Also with the piece of mind knowing Turbo Tax has professionals standing bye to answer any question I may have.
What's great about it: was able to finish my taxes quickly and accurately for a fraction of the cost.
What's not so great: It didn't make me coffee while I did my taxes.

Great Product!

My 8th consecutive year with Turbo Tax and never an issue! Products offered get better every year. Will be using Turbo Tax next year!
What's great about it: Very easy to follow. Helpful hints and answers to tax questions. Very comfortable using Turbo Tax!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great way to file taxes

Very professional and seemed to be thorough. It would be nice if it prepared worksheet/list of things to track through year for next return based on what I filed. For example, I used to itemize and could not because interest dropped. It would be nice to have list of what to track to maximize my chances of itemizing next year. Also print totals and how close I am not just tell me which it will use.
What's great about it: easy to use and find areas to go back to.
What's not so great: should show last years values and allow you to use these instead of reentering

overall everything is good except for the business areas they were not user friendly for me.
What's great about it: all other areas ok
What's not so great: did not understand the 1099-misc - difficult to travel

This is an excellent program.
No, seriously. At risk of sounding like some advertisement, I say this - it has no bugs, it takes care of exactly what it says it takes care of, it holds your hand every step of the way and it speaks plainly - even if you don't understand what its going on about, it has readily-accessed help features that explain things in depth so even this foolish 26 year old could understand it all.
I would recommend this program to anyone, *anyone* who has to file taxes over any other method.
Thank you, Turbotax - you have made my tax season as painless as possible!

Takes the Pain out of Filing Taxes

Before I discovered TurboTax about five years ago, I used to do our taxes by hand -- what a headache! I was up to my neck in records, receipts, worksheets, etc., and I was always worried that I had forgotten something or left something out, or that I had made a mistake in my calculations. With TurboTax I can rest easy knowing that I haven't overlooked or skipped anything (especially deductions and credits!).
What's great about it: I like how TurboTax takes me through the return step-by-step.
