Great Experience

We have been using Turbo Tax for many years never had a problem great program. Recomend it to anyone who would like to save time and money.
What's great about it: Easy quick and painless!!!!

All in all, it is always a great product, and i will always use TurboTax!
What's great about it: I liked everything about it!
What's not so great: I had to do it in sections, due to work.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Import of some Financial Institution information not always accurate when in came to 1099 Sale and Exchange. It created a 8949 Box C, when none was required or information was not accurate.

I have been using turbo tax for years. Absolutely love it. Even if I come across something unusual Turbo Tax helps me understand it. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Very Good Program

I have been using TurboTax for a lot of years now. I have to admit I had quite a few problems last year, which was the first time I ever had. They seem to have corrected them for this year's program. I did run into a glitch in the Vermont State Tax program. There was some information about the Property Tax Rebate form concerning information from your property tax bill, that was neglected in the question format. It was caught in the review as my not filling in the information, or an error. When I corrected it, I had to run a second review, which was no big deal. It also never asked for the contact telephone numbers, which I had to enter manually on the form. There were a few confusing directions. The one I can remember was when it came to printing up your forms while e-Filing. It had a "Print Forms" button that, when pressed, gave the option of "Previewing" the forms before printing, but not actually printing the forms. It opened up a PDF file and you had to print from its menu, not through TurboTax, which led to some confusion. It still left the window open for "Previewing" the printing forms and the only way to close it was to press the "Cancel" button. It also gave no chose to print the forms, with or without previewing, so you got the impression you were cancelling the printing. If you haven't worked with PDF files before, you might know that you could, or had to, print from the PDF program menu.
These glitches were not drastic, they were more of an annoyance, and did not impact the accuracy of the return. All in all, unless there is a repeat of last year, when I had nothing but problems actually getting my return completed, I will continue to buy TurboTax in the future. I am comfortable and confident while using it.

Easy does it!

Can't see how it can be any easier to do your taxes.Love the way you transfer all the info from the previous years and that you can do more than one person's return. I do my husbands and mine and my adult kids as well --I feel like an accountant!!
What's great about it: Keeps track of previous years and suggest better ways to maximize your return.
What's not so great: Why does it cost to file state returns?? I refuse to give the state any more money so I always print and mail the state

Stand-by Me Turbo

Have been a Turbo customer for years - at least 10+. Each year the task gets easier. This year was a challenge, since the Tax Code kept changing. However, Turbo was right there keeping my return up to date. Well Done.
What's great about it: Well organized, well written, easy to follow, thorough
What's not so great: Well, it is a tax return - necessary "civil duty"

Not as easy to use as last year

I think this year's version seemed a little more complicated than last year's. Some of the wording was over my head (I am a NON-tax person and find any matters of tax filing very confusing to begin with). I liked the way the other versions walked you through stuff like you were a kinder-gardener. This year's version seemed to assume that you know more about taxes or something. I can't really put my finger on it but I found myself scratching my head a few times.
What's great about it: Walked you through everything
What's not so great: Wasn't as user-friendly
