Got hooked on TurboTax years ago. Every year I ponder trying some other software but then I come to my senses and get my disc.
What's great about it: easy to navigate
What's not so great: none that I can think of.

Turbo Tax is a great way to file your taxes without having to spend large amounts of your hard earned money. The program is simple to load and easy to use. It walks you step by step through income and deductions, then electronically files it for you so that your refund is delivered as quickly as possible.
The one negative is that at times it asks about too many things that did not apply to me. Since these things did not apply to my life, I had no idea what they were. I then had to spend a bit of time researching them so that I could feel confident checking the box that skips that section. Luckily there are lots of descriptions, definitions, and help loaded right into the program so I didn't have to search far. This complaint could also be viewed as a positive, since it makes me feel confident that I have explored all of my options and will get my full refund!
What's great about it: Easy walk through method of filling out tax forms
What's not so great: Asks a lot of questions about things that don't apply to me

Used it for many years, since a paid preparer completely screwed up our return, saved approximately $4,000 in that year.

I have used Turbo Tax for 3 years now. I find it very easy to work through as well as a learning tool.
