I've used Turbotax for over 15 years and am never disappointed. Very easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to follow fill-in forms
What's not so great: Would have liked more expalantion about real estate tax issues

State e-file costs!

Most states now have free e-filing. The Preparation fee should be a part of the cost of the state download just like it has been incorporated into the cost of the federal program. When using the online state program no fee is charged!
What's great about it: Thorough and accurate
What's not so great: Fee to prep and e-file state is unreasonable

My TT Experience

My main problem with Turbotax is lack of a straight forward way to report apparent errors in Turbotax processing. I had a case of a Roth conversion done in 2010 with the payments to be entered in 2011 and 2012. I had no problem with 2011, but when I did it on the 2012 taxes It got entered in twice and I spent hours trying to get it repaired without overriding, but I had to override the value. It would be nice to have TT allow editing of all forms.
What's great about it: quick calculations and allows options to add information and ability to override
What's not so great: Some items are not straight forward

If you've pay your taxes with credit card, you will be charge for the service.
