A Great Timesaver

TurboTax keeps getting more user friendly each year. Been using TurboTax for over a decade.....gives me piece of mind, knowing that my tax returns are accurate and free of math errors.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Price of software keeps going up every year!

Easy & Accurate

Turbotax installed quickly & easily on my Mac. Updates were complete & fast. Data input easy. Explanations very clear. I never had a doubt as to what to do. Electronic filing is exactly what I wanted.

1. Does not seem to check for probable "double entries" of taxes reported
2. The transfer from previous year's turbo tax limits itself to "personal" data. It should also transfer records of sources of past income & expenses so that we can insert this year's income per entry/entity/category or simply delete entries that are no longer applicable. This needs to be implemented to make it more "user friendly"
3. Makes an error in calculating income allocations in the case of joint filling -- as a result we "lost' the benefits of IRA contributions. Specifically, my wife's "income" was increased by all of our joint income (not 1/2) & she lost the tax benefit on her IRA contribution This is a serious error that needs to be corrected

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX SINCE 2004 AND WILL ALWAYS USE IN THE FUTURE
What's great about it: EASY TO USE
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
