Took the Fear away!

This is the first time in 19 years I filed by myself, I'm recently divorced and had lots of fear about doing my taxes, this program made it simple! If only it could of got me so me money back :(
What's great about it: Covered everything with simple questions it was like taking a survey
What's not so great: I didn't get a return:(

You should offer the user some education regarding what appears to be an itemized deduction threshold. It becomes very confusing when you enter a valid expense and the calculation doesn't update or for that matter the expense shows up as a zero.
What's great about it: Convenient, Fast, Well-structured
What's not so great: Shortcomings regarding itemized deductions

Easier to use

Uploading last years info is a great time saver.
What's great about it: Going back to make changes is easier than prior years
What's not so great: TT does not take you back to where you left off when you have to stop in the middle of preparing your return.

Turbo tax review

I thought the program was easy to use and navigate. It carried forward from previous years automatically in some areas, and also auto-filled some blocks from the W-2's. Two minor cons were having to scroll to the bottom of the screen every time you finished a section in the Easy Guide, and having to answer the questions on some sections again when you review before it would let you select the continue button.
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate. Quick to prepare.
What's not so great: When reviewing an area some questions had to be re-entered

Yeah for $$

This was the first time I did my taxes on my own (without my dad), and I sailed right through. It provided links to the information that I needed, and clear answers when I had questions. The best part, of course is that I got more money back than I anticipated. TurboTax is awesome!
PS - The hardest part is getting a nickname to leave the review...
What's great about it: Found deductions I didn't know were available to me.
What's not so great: None.
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The process was very smooth and no problem. Felt the state filing was a bit on the expensive side though.
